Did anyone see the episode of the couple and their two children who were looking for a place in Rwanda? The houses there were beautiful but did you see how everyone was staring at them as they walked down the street I don't know if I could uproot myself and live in a different country with an entirely different culture so I give them props!

I think it would be extremely difficult to make such a sudden move to another country. Maybe the family did their research of the area before hand. It's crazy that Americans have such a hard time adapting to other cultures living abroad but other people from all around the world come to America without the same biases and difficulties. It makes you think are Americans that objective to change? Are we that narrow minded that we can't live with other cultures without a McDonald's on every corner?

I don't think it's the fact that we would have to adapt to their cultures, and the lack of McDonald's is not the issue, but to remove yourself from what you know and are comfortable with to completely start over in life (because essentially, that's what it's all about) would be difficult for most people.
